About Us
Giselle, Hugh & Juliarna met at the Conservatorium of Music, University of Melbourne, in the mid 90s. They were fresh out of school, fairly brimming with passion and enthusiasm for classical music. Thirty years on and that hasn't changed. Their paths crossed in 2024 for various musical projects, et voilá— the idea of concerts that celebrate and share music that they particularly love was floated…and here we are today.
Each of the pieces they perform holds great meaning for them, and a lot of creative fun and considerable mirth goes into selection of material, and rehearsal of concerts. The hardest part of each concert is selecting the pieces as there is so much wonderful, moving music in the classical inventory—it feels a little like being forced to select favourite children!
We love the music we engage with and perform; hope you do too!
